Kansas trade/merchant token from John J. Luthi in Milford, Kansas, Jan, 6, 1908.  Suspended from 22" of patina brass chain, with a small nugget of U.S. Castle Dome Turquoise.   1870-1920's saw the highest use of trade/merchant tokens, mostly for promotion and extending credit in rural towns.
